Joel Snyder, 45, is wanted on 14 weapons and drug charges, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Wilbert Deberry Jr., 53, was arrested after a home and vehicle were raided on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
Police executed a search warrant on the home and vehicle on the 1500 block of Beach Avenue after a two-month drug-dealing investigation. Detectives seized more than 15 pounds of marijuana, 23 grams of cocaine, and items used for packaging and selling drugs.
Officers also found four guns during the raid, one of which was reported stolen from North Carolina. An arrest warrant was issued for Snyder and DeBerry was held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Deberry was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon while committing a controlled dangerous substance offense, certain person not to possess a weapon, money laundering, maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, and possession of hollow-point ammunition.
